1. Picklist amended to allow up to 15 items per sheet
2. Activity page for products changed to show transactions including product with most recent at top of list. Clicking on a line shows brief details of the hire for the transaction, and button added to go to hire details page.
3. Hire details and payment pages amended so data is displayed read-only if more than 30 days after hire return date and user is not 'Admin'. Log on as 'Admin' to amend older hires.
4. Find stock dialog on sales detail page changed so only product categories containing sale stock are shown.

Patch 2.05.0050 (21/03/08)

This patch includes

1. Changes layout of hire reciept so lines are set closer where no additional details entered. Should enable most receipts to be printed on one page only.

1. Today's Rentals page title changed to 'Rental Drill Down'. Amended to displayed in next week's hires by default.
2. Changed Hire Schedule Report to show hires scheduled on single line for each.
3. General amendment for reports to fix bug where time was being added to some from/to dates (if one of the week periods pressed) - hence incorrectly deleting or adding rentals/sales from reports. Hires Booked and Hires Scheduled among others affected.
4. Pick list items now shown in sort order (previously item id)
5. Parameterised shortfall report to show/hide zero stock and show/hide exact match on hire numbers.

1. Amended Pick List to place lines between items and add sign off on bottom of each page.
2. Changed Accounts Balances report parameter dialog to allow search on surname and customer id. Added logic so when account is fully paid report is not displayed but warning message shown instead - this was previously causing some confusion as in those cases report was empty.
3. Amends Rental Schedule report - displays a short summary of rentals between specified dates with renter information and hire items.

1. All references to Hire replaced by Rental in program for consistency
2. Added in-program backup to closedown screen. We highly recommend that SQL Server backup and maintenance should be configured on your system but this new function allows a simple manual backup. The backup taken is a standard SQL Server backup and can be restored via SQL Server tools.
3. Copy Rental functionality fixed, and added search by name (in addition to postcode and rental number). Also fixed issue with copied hires not marked collected properly.
4. Checked minor update issue with Grand Total price in Rental Items page (value is correct in database, but not always displayed correctly on this page). Applied fix but please report any issues. There are know issues here with package price not displaying with decimals and refresh of Grant Total not displayed automatically on change - these will be addressed in a later fix as the 'edit/calculator button' control needs improving in full system.
5. Added additional error checking on Occassion/Collection/Return date processing to fix intermitent crashs. Dure to the occassional nature of this please report any ongoing problems.
6. Changed screen centering processing for main menu - this should fix screen position issues, but please report any problems
7. Applied improvement to record save/refresh on Rental Payments screen - reduces time to calculate and show receipt.
8. Amended receipt layout to increase spacing and other cosmetic changes.
9. Changed browser button to new Tartan Web logo and default destination to tillrental.com. Intended to use this for updated help/faqs and access to patches.
10. Minor Security change to Setup program. No visible user change but please install update.

This patch does not come with an installer, simply unzip and copy the tillsale.exe file over your existing copy. The only change made in this patch is to enable the program to run on Windows Vista with SQL Server Express, so if you are using only XP this patch may be skipped.

1. Changes collect hire function so hires can only be collected if partial or complete payment has been made.
2. Adds additional page to configuration program (TillInit) to enhance Category and Subcategory classification. Includes functions to (a) Rename category, (b) Merge categories (c) Add new category, (d) Rename subcategory, (e) Merge subcategories. Changes to categories and subcategories move products as required.

As changes to stock levels are set when a transaction is marked complete this should also fix reported issues with incorrect stock levels.
